STATUS:
At this point we can successfully read the data from the most recent AULD run into both livedata and gridzilla. The problems currently facing us are:

• Heliocentric (HEL) is not a recognized velocity frame. We need to switch to, e.g. LSRK, or get livedata/gridzilla to recognize helio
• Livedata is using the radio definition for velocity, not the optical definition Is there some way to teach it to use the optical def?
• How do we go about converting the data from raw counts to Tsys, or even Jy?
• What do we do once the data has been sent through livedata and gridzilla?
• The slow method we have now of using IDL to convert the data into a format livedata likes is silly, and eventually this needs to be switched to c-code.

CONVERSION CODE:
This is the best we've got right now: rwwapp.pro.
Note that its hardwired at the moment to only look at the first 100 rows of data. To get rid of this feature, remove the line that says "naxis2=100"
It is also hardwired to make the output file out_new.fits. This will be fixed someday...
And... the velocity frame is now hardwaired to LSRK (see above)

The best (most recent) datasets to use are those from the AULDs survey, which are online at http://www.stecf.org/~wfreudli/alfa/results.html
You can also get copies of recent output from the conversion programs (out_new.fits) and livedata (out_new.sdfits) through these links.
